Abstract of the project:
In any large organization where communication is tougher because of the wide area, the project “LAN Based Instant Messenger” serves as a great alternate. Using this application the messages can be broadcasted on Local Area Network (LAN) to all the members of the organization. The members can be grouped and the messages can be broadcasted to the required group only. This can also be used to broadcast the message to a single member in the network. Since it requires the registration before receiving the message from server this gives a great security also. The possibility of attaching files as pdf, Windows office documents and also images of JPG and PNG format gives a easier way of communication. It does not requires any internet connection and any permissions from mobile service providers. This is a paperless work, reduces the man power required. It is mainly designed for the students and teachers to know the activities within the organization.

Abstract of the project:
For visually challenged people, outdoor pedestrian is often difficult and dangerous. The visually challenged commonly rely on cane or a walking stick and a guide dog to assist them in reaching a desired destination without harm. This approach is successful only if the majority of the path to the destination is already known to the blind. The project brings into picture the use of RFID for a bus detection mechanism to help the blind in travelling from one place to another.
Therefore the project aims to develop a bus detection prototypes using RFID for blind. RFID has the potential to be a useful aid with further standardization of RFID tags and improvement of current RFID readers. Interfacing reader with microcontroller using IR sensor for wireless communication design aids in improved navigation. The quantitative evaluation of real life field testing that helps assess the effectiveness in enabling independent boarding of public buses.

Abstract of the project:
In this system the proposed concept is to replace the manual work in public distribution system. India’s PDS is the largest retail system in the world. Ration distribution is one of controversial issues that involves corruption and illegal smuggling of goods. All these things happen because all the work at ration shop involves manual intervention.
People don’t have the idea about how much grain is allotted to them for this munch. In this paper we are doing automation of the distribution system at the ration shop as well as we are maintaining the database at one main control station and updating the database so that the shopkeeper do not cheat the poor people.
RFID tag is used for authentication and the automatic distribution is done with. For sending the message GSM is used. GSM which is used to alert the customer about the arrival of goods in the shop and to inform that government has allotted particular quantity for them.
As soon as the input is given, the products are obtained from the automated ration shop and the amount is taken from the particular person.
Finally a bill will be obtained from a thermal printer where the consumer must receive and take their groceries from the warehouse.

Abstract of the project:
This project describes about a brain controlled Embedded system based on Brain–computer interfaces (BCI).The Brain Computer Interface(BCI) System which uses brain signals and helps in providing direct communication and control between the human brain and physical devices by translating different patterns of brain activity into commands in real time.
Many physically disabled persons are facing problems such as movement and they are dependent on others for their daily needs ,work and to look after them.
In the past, the main focus has been about developing applications in a medical context, helping paralyzed or disabled patients to interact with the external world, by mapping brain signals to human cognitive and/or sensory motor functions. However, BCI development is no longer constrained to just patients or for treatment, there is a shift of focus towards people with ordinary health. This project is result of that shifted focus.
The EEG sensor senses the brain signals from person’s forehead based on his attention level and eyeblinks, these signals are transmitted to a system via Bluetooth and the system decodes the signal which in turn runs the robotic wheelchair.

Abstract of the project:
Driver errors and carelessness contribute most of the road accidents occurring nowadays. The major driver errors are caused by drowsiness, drunken and reckless behavior of the driver. This project focuses on a driver drowsiness detection system on abnormal behavior exhibited by the driver using Raspberry pi single board computer. Drivers, who do not take regular breaks when driving long distances, run a high risk of becoming drowsy, a state which they often fail to recognize early enough according to the experts. Around one quarter of all serious motorway accidents are attributable to sleepy drivers in need of a rest, meaning that drowsiness causes more road accidents than drink-driving. Attention assist can warn of inattentiveness and drowsiness in an extended speed range and notify drivers of their current state of fatigue and the driving time. Moreover the system is capable of detecting drowsiness within time duration of about two seconds. The detected abnormal behavior is corrected through alarms in real time. The purpose of such a model is to advance a system to detect fatigue in drivers and control the speed of vehicle to avoid accidents. If the driver is found to have sleep, alarm will start buzzing and speed of the vehicle will be reduced in order to avoid accidents.

Abstract of the project:
Wireless Home Security System using IoT is a system that uses computers or mobile devices to control basic home functions and features automatically through internet from anywhere around the world, an automated home is sometimes called as smart home. Using this system as framework, the system can be expanded to include various other options.
It is necessary to control the home from desire location. Home automation is the control of any electrically and electronics device in our home and office, whether we are there or away. There are hundreds of products available that allow us to control over the devices automatically with using raspberry pi model either by remote control or even by webpage.
This Home automation system provide the user with remote control of various lights and appliances within their home. This system is designed to be low cost and expandable allowing a variety of devices to be controlled. Home automation and benefits will be focus on and how this can be achieved through the use of the raspberry pi.
User will login to the web interface by submitting username, password and he/she gets the control page which is working dynamically and change that occurred in the smart home also reflected to control page. Web interface is used to communicate between user and Raspberry Pi. By using the control page, the user can control lighting, security and other home appliance. Whenever an intruder comes in the range of PIR sensor, it triggers buzzer to ON state. The camera will give visual feed about any visitors to the user. The virtual fence alerts the user in case of any trespassing, either by glowing LED or buzzer should be ON state. It also provides switch mapping option, so that one switch can be used to operate for two LEDs. When the sensor triggers user gets an alert message.

Abstract of the project:
This system defines the concept of the smart parking system, Parking system which provides efficient ways for parking vehicles. Parking system have gained a lot of importance in present scenario. Many big cities including metropolitan cities with the growth of population grows the rate of vehicles that reflects on the parking system.
The system will detect the identification of registration number of vehicles and produces the information of the vehicles parked. A RF readers are used to sense the vehicle parked. The reason why a RF readers are used is because with its usage the cost effective lanes can be allotted. The tags or smart cards are attached to vehicle which holds the identification number of vehicle.
A GSM modem is used for sending OTP for user verification and authenticity which also used for sending sms regarding parking payments.
An automatic parking system is used to make the whole process of parking vehicles more efficient and less complex for both drivers and administrator , which also includes online and offline payments. The user recharges the amount by logging-in to account and can complete payment process. Offline payments are done by the admin. User is notified with payment details and remaining balance.
A user can track parking details of vehicles and this system also provides a effective and planned system for vehicle parking whichcan also avoid vehicle theft.
