Vidya Vikas Engineering Students awarded funding by Young Engineers’ Humanitarian Challenge

Vidya Vikas Students of the Department of Electronics and Communication have been awarded with funding for their innovative project titled Advanced Crash Detection System for Automobiles by the All IEEE-R10 Young Engineers’ Humanitarian Challenge (AiyeHum-2014)which is a project-contest to encourage young scientists and engineers to solve real-world challenges applying science and technology. The contest aims at orienting young minds towards identifying community problems and developing technology solutions to address them, focusing on actual implementation reaching the beneficiaries. There was tough competition for projects submitted from Asia and Pacific countries like Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Vietnam, Singapore, Pakistan, Srilanka. Management congratulated both students and mentors for their achievement.
